What can I do to prepare for my appointment?
How do I set up an appointment?
Is there anyone that you will not tattoo?
Yes. Some places worse than others. Don't be a wimp. If it didn't hurt, everyone would have them.
No. There are some topical anesthetics on the market, I have used some of them and I believe it isn't worth the trouble for the time that the area is numb. They do, however, have thier place in some extremely long sessions.
I will not tattoo someone who: is under 18, pregnant, intoxicated, rude, does not have the proper photo ID, brings children to their appointment, or has a sunburn in the area to be tattooed. Also I cannot tattoo over moles. If you have a mole in the area you would like tattooed. We must tattoo around it or relocate the tattoo.
No. The studio is no place for children. No one under 16 years of age will be permitted inside.
Bring a photo ID. We only accept cash payments. Eat something light. Do not consume alcohol at least 24 hours before your appointment. Do not take aspirin or any other blood thinners. Bring a soda or a candy bar if you choose. The sugar will replenish your insulin levels and keep you from feeling ill, particularly if you're a newbee.
On the contact page you will find the information on how to reach me for an appointment. February through August are the busiest times for the Studio. If I cannot be reached, please leave a message.
Is there anything that you will not tattoo?
Genitals, faces, hands (unless you are heavily tattooed already) or any image satanic or racist in origin.
The following refers to a traditional tattoo. Contact Melissa for any question regarding the application of Permanent Makeup.
